BOSS Black Menswear Fashion Show – New York
As part of my journey at BOSS, one of the defining milestones was contributing to the BOSS Black Fall/Winter 2017 Menswear Fashion Show in New York.
The collection marked the debut of Chief Brand Officer Ingo Wilts and introduced a renewed creative direction for the brand. Drawing inspiration from the bold volumes, relaxed tailoring and proportions of the 1980s and 1990s, it represented a significant evolution of the BOSS aesthetic while staying true to its premium heritage.
My responsibility focused on the complete development of the leather outerwear featured on the runway—from the first prototypes through material development, fittings and technical refinement to the final show pieces. Working closely with design, pattern making and suppliers, the objective was to translate creative vision into exceptional garments that met the highest standards of craftsmanship and runway execution.
Looking back, this project reflects an experience that continues to shape my approach today: connecting creative direction with product excellence, balancing design ambition with technical precision, and bringing a collection vision to life through cross-functional collaboration.

HUGO BOSS × Mille Miglia
The Art of Speed – A Limited Edition Leather Jacket
Inspired by one of the most legendary moments in automotive history, this exclusive leather jacket was created to celebrate the 2015 Mille Miglia – where heritage, craftsmanship and performance come together.
The project began with an immersion into the world of motorsport and the legacy of the legendary “722” – the starting number of Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson’s record-breaking 1955 Mille Miglia victory with the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR. Standing beside the original race car became a defining moment of inspiration, translating its spirit of precision, movement and timeless elegance into a contemporary HUGO BOSS design.
Limited to only 722 pieces worldwide, the jacket reinterpreted the classic aviator silhouette through a modern luxury perspective. Crafted from premium lamb leather, it combined refined craftsmanship with functional details, including a removable fur collar, concealed sleeve zippers, a two-way closure and an ergonomic construction designed for freedom of movement.
Every detail carried a purpose – from the signature “722” quilted lining to the carefully considered interior elements inspired by the needs of a Mille Miglia driver.
A collector’s piece celebrating speed, heritage and modern craftsmanship, the final edition was worn by Formula One World Champion Nico Rosberg, completing a story where automotive excellence meets contemporary menswear.
